Dear Safari Friends
Ever since I can remember, my heart has been beating for Africa. Growing up in a small village near Nuremberg, I traveled Africa early on with my self-rebuilt BMW motorcycle. The highlight was an Africa crossing in 1992 with our BMW – sidecar – machines. At the latest when we crossed the Congo, where we were stuck in the mud for days, it became clear to me: we need a bigger vehicle! During my engineering studies I built my expedition truck, a Magirus, and finally arrived in Namibia in 2001 after graduation. Here I met my wife Silke in 2002 on the farm Daktari near Otjiwarongo.
